From Crates.io

Configuration & Storage

• Bookmarks Storage: ~/.config/vib/bookmarks.json
• Default Downloads: Saves to ~/Downloads or the active working directory.

Troubleshooting

Device not appearing during send

Linux Firewall. LocalSend uses port 53317 (TCP and UDP).

• UFW:

  sudo ufw allow 53317/tcp
  sudo ufw allow 53317/udp

• FirewallD:

  sudo firewall-cmd --add-port=53317/tcp --permanent
  sudo firewall-cmd --add-port=53317/udp --permanent
  sudo firewall-cmd --reload

• iptables:

  sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 53317 -j ACCEPT
  sudo iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 53317 -j ACCEPT

Multiple Network Interfaces. Docker or Tailscale interfaces may capture multicast traffic. Press F5 or r to rescan subnets and verify devices are on the same local access point.
