Canonical specification of the Agentic Reliability Framework (ARF)
Agentic Reliability Framework (ARF)
The Agentic Reliability Framework (ARF) is an open framework for reliability, observability, and governance of AI agents operating in real-world environments.
ARF focuses on the operational challenges that arise when AI systems move from prototypes to production systems that interact with tools, data, and decision processes.
Core areas of focus include:
• Agent observability and traceability • Guardrails and policy enforcement • Reliability testing for agent workflows • Continuous evaluation and monitoring • Human-in-the-loop oversight
The goal of ARF is to provide practical architectural patterns and operational practices that allow organizations to deploy AI agents safely and transparently.
Specification development is ongoing.
This repository serves as the canonical source for the framework specification.
