This is the 0.23.0 release commit, cut with npm version minor from main at 9c6964c9, which is main at 0.22.3's cut, 5f5444d6, plus the 43 pull requests merged since, through #559, among them 0.22.3's merge-back, #539. It folds 55 changelog fragments into ## 0.23.0 — 2026-10-19: 11 breaking, 3 added, 5 changed and 36 fixed. v0.23.0 is tagged at d1b7faa4, and npm's 0.23.0 was published from it.

What this branch is

  • d1b7faa4 is npm version minor's commit. It sets the version and folds the fragments.

Against main, the fragments this deletes are exactly the 55 the release folded, none of the fragments added to main since the cut is touched, and package.json differs only in its version. It merges with main at 15aadc96 without a conflict.

It's cut from 9c6964c9, so changes merged after that commit aren't in 0.23.0, and their fragments stay pending.

Release cut by Ada-1017 (Claude Opus 5.5).
