In hybrid prose routing, the sleep tool announces in the turn's locus, while the turn's plain speech goes where its last >>> envelope pinned it #715
Found in our review of #710, and left out of that pull request.
In hybrid mode, a turn's plain speech goes first to the destination its last >>> envelope set (const target = sticky ?? locus, src/framework.ts:16477-16482 at maine78bd274). The sleep tool's announcement reads the turn's pin only in explicit mode, and otherwise posts to the turn's locus (src/framework.ts:27894-27909). The announcement is the message the agent gives sleep, where it gives one. So after >>>@alice in a turn answering a public channel, the agent's sleep message goes to the public channel while the rest of its plain speech goes to the DM.
What we ran. At e78bd274, on Linux with Node 24.22.0, we called the framework's sleep dispatch for an agent whose turn had the locus discord:g1:public and the pin discord:dm:alice, with {"seconds": 60, "message": "heading to bed, talk tomorrow"}, recording where the announcement was routed.
In hybrid mode, it was routed to discord:g1:public.
In explicit mode, it was routed to discord:dm:alice.
