This CI patch replaces explicit ubuntu-latest runner labels with ubuntu-24.04 to reduce disruption from Ubuntu version changes in GitHub Actions.
Changes:
- Pins 33 runner declarations across 19 workflows.
- Updates testing, publishing, deployment, and repository automation jobs without changing their steps.

Summary
GitHub is moving the
ubuntu-latestlabel from Ubuntu 24.04 to Ubuntu 26.04, and jobs started failing after the switch. This PR pins every Ubuntu job toubuntu-24.04, the imageubuntu-latestresolved to before the move, so the runner image only changes when we choose to change it.runs-on: ubuntu-latest→runs-on: ubuntu-24.04in 19 workflow files (33 occurrences).python_pytest.yml,test-pr-command.yml,fix-pr-command.ymlanduv-lock-command.ymlused to build"${{ matrix.os }}-latest". Their Ubuntu legs now resolve toubuntu-24.04, and Windows legs are unchanged:mainbecause this is a CI fix. Therc-branch-updateworkflow syncs it intorelease-candidate/v1.Related PRs with the same change: airbytehq/airbyte-ops-mcp and airbytehq/airbyte, opened from the same session.
Test plan
