Members click a button → get matched with a stranger → talk in a private thread. Text, voice, or group. One command to set up. No extra apps.

Features

Text matching → Pairs two users into a private Discord thread. /skip to get someone new, /leave to exit.

Voice matching → Bot creates a private voice channel and moves both users in automatically. No links, no manual steps.

Group mode → Up to 5 strangers in one thread. Good for servers that want more of a social vibe.

Cross-server matching → Link Mode lets your members match with people from other Omecord servers. Bigger pool, faster queues.

Mod tools → /report saves a full transcript and pings you. Local bans, global bans, audit logs. Anonymous doesn't mean unmoderated.

Customizable → Embed title, description, colors, button labels, bot nickname, avatar. All per-server.

Setup

Invite the bot, then run this once in the channel you want it to live in:

/menu setup

That's it. The bot posts the embed and handles everything from there.

Commands

/skip      → leave current chat, rejoin queue immediately
/leave     → exit chat or queue
/report    → report a user (saves transcript, alerts mods)
/status    → see your current chat or queue position

/ban           → ban a user locally across your server
/menu setup    → post the chat embed (run once)

Why Rust

Most Discord bots are Python scripts. Omecord is compiled Rust → faster matching, lower memory, won't fall over when your server gets busy. Supports 300 concurrent users per server.

Privacy

Messages are never stored. They live in Discord threads and are gone when the thread closes. The database only holds server config, queue state, and reports/bans.
