The YAML Frontmatter of a header in a markdown document is only rendered in a proper way, when a blank line is inserted before the closing three dashes.
Example:
This
---
title: My Article Title
date: 2024-01-15
author: John Doe
tags: [markdown, tutorial, web]
---
is differently rendered to this
---
title: My Article Title
date: 2024-01-15
author: John Doe
tags: [markdown, tutorial, web]
---
The blank-line dependency was fixed in 2.15.0 (#426) and the outline followed in 2.16.0 (#442). Hiding the frontmatter block in Preview is deliberate: it is metadata, not prose. Closing.

In zennotes 2.15 the frontmatter in the editor doesn't render correctly and in the preview, it does not render at all.

The main issue should be resolved by now through #426.
However, I'm not sure if an un-rendered frontmatter in the Preview is an actual intent or an issue.
