Port Forwarding #610

#607 (comment)

Image Image Active session forwarding compresses the space available for displaying rules; furthermore, the display area for the [Edit] box is constricted, breaking the layout. Additionally, consider making the active sessions section collapsible; otherwise, when there are many ports, users are forced to scroll endlessly—whether via trackpad or mouse wheel.

Thanks for the screenshots, they made both problems clear. Both are fixed in #612.

Menu cut off. The menu opened under the … button and only got the space left below it, so on a rule near the bottom of the window you could reach "Edit" and nothing else. It now moves up until every entry fits. The same menu is used on hosts, keys, snippets and the other lists, so those are fixed too.

Active session forwards. The section header is now clickable and folds the whole list away, so your rules sit right under the toolbar however many ports are detected. The choice is remembered across restarts. While folded, the header still shows how many hosts and tunnels are active, plus an error count if a forward failed.

It will be in the next release.
