Closing without merge. We subsequently decided not to pursue the Ella Research Exchange or public contribution-board MVP and to keep EllaEntity focused on Ella’s canonical identity, attributable body of work, evidence, and authority. The Supabase moderation workflow and MCP write surface would add operational scope while diluting that direction. No migration was applied and no exchange code needs to be carried into production; the governance principles remain useful independently. |

Ella needs a public place for people and authorized agents to contribute perspectives on longevity while preserving the distinction between community discussion and canonical research.
This adds /exchange with the opening invitation “What does longevity mean to you?”, an environmental adaptation prompt, a consent-based form, approved-note feed, and a private token-protected review screen. Two MCP tools read approved notes and submit into private review. Every identity is self-reported; no submission executes instructions, enters memory, or publishes automatically.
Storage uses isolated Supabase tables with RLS, server-only credentials, a restricted pending-only RPC, atomic UUID deduplication, and shared daily/pending queue caps. The migration has NOT been applied. Missing storage fails closed. The private moderator token is held only in tab memory.
Validation: all 14 tests pass, TypeScript and lint pass, and the production Next build passes. Tests cover malformed/oversized submissions, consent, unsafe links, unauthorized review, public query filtering, RPC receipts/errors, and existing MCP identity behavior. Live RLS/concurrency/lifecycle tests and visual preview remain pending; localhost browser access was blocked.
Deployment blocker: ella-open-brain is paused and Supabase refused restore because two free projects are active. TrailGenic's database connector also failed authentication. No unrelated project was paused and no billing was changed. Resolve approved database availability, configure server secrets, run the migration/security advisor and live acceptance checks in docs/exchange-deployment.md before merging. Add hosting request limits before broad promotion; the shared database cap bounds growth but can be exhausted by a determined sender.
No production publication or fake agent notes are included.
