A high-voltage Minecraft Fabric utility client.

What it is

Volt is a Fabric utility client for Minecraft 1.21.11, built for anarchy servers. It carries 168 modules, a scriptable HUD, waypoints, macros, proxies, account management, and full Baritone integration.

It is a rebrand and redesign of Meteor Client, which is GPL-3.0 licensed. See Licensing.

What's different

Identity	Volt lime #C6FF00 throughout, Zeniq Nano as the default typeface, a 61-icon set
Interface	Rounded geometry, translucent glass panels over the blur pass, eased hover and toggle animation
Typography	Fonts merge into a single glyph atlas, so a font missing {, Cyrillic or Greek falls back silently instead of rendering blank space
Console	A real OS window streaming Volt's status and errors — Minecraft's javaw.exe has no console of its own
Privacy	No telemetry. Volt makes no requests to any first-party server
Migration	An existing Meteor profile is copied across on first launch; the original is left untouched

Building

Requires JDK 21. The build pins its own toolchain, so a different JAVA_HOME will not interfere.

The jar lands in build/libs/.

Installing

Drop the jar in your mods folder alongside Fabric Loader for Minecraft 1.21.11.

Volt conflicts with Meteor Client and refuses to load beside it — they mix at the mixin level. Your Meteor settings are copied to .minecraft/volt/ the first time Volt starts, and the Meteor folder is left alone, so you can go back at any time.

Console

Volt can open a real console window showing what it is doing:

• .console in chat, or
• the Console setting under Config

It opens itself the first time Volt logs an error. Filter by level, copy the buffer, or clear it.

Addons

Meteor addons do not load in Volt unmodified: the Fabric entrypoint key differs and every meteordevelopment.meteorclient class an addon imports is gone. tools/port-addon.py applies the same mechanical rename Volt itself went through to an addon's source.

Contributing

• Apply the license header to every new Java file.
• Keep IDE and system files out of commits — add them to .gitignore.
• Match the surrounding code. Favour readability over compactness.

Volt is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0, inherited from Meteor Client.

If you use any code from this project:

• You must disclose your source code, and the source you took from this project. You may not use this code, even partially, in a closed-source or obfuscated application.
• You must state clearly to all end users that you are using code from this project.
• Your application must be licensed under the same license.
