Hello, congratulations for an amazing job.
I'd like to ask some things:
How many slides (and tiles) do you finally use in each cohort of data? (M1, M2, etc).
How much time spent for use the feature extractor?. I'm using a NVIDIA A100 and is extremely slow for my WSIs (maybe I'm doing something wrong, that's why I ask haha )

How many slides (and tiles) do you finally use in each cohort of data? (M1, M2, etc).

number of slides used varied from 300~500 ish per model
number of tiles depends on the tissue content of each slide, we removed slides with less than 1000 tiles, on average a slide had around 10000 tiles.

How much time spent for use the feature extractor?

this is indeed the slowest part of the process. I don't have the exact times but I remember it taking a few days.

we eventually used 6x A100 40GB cards and split the load across them, and processed about 1000 slides in 20 hours if I recall correctly.
