Official documentation for Toast Wallet, maintained on behalf of StarStone Ltd. Recovery guides, credential troubleshooting, and a full warning list covering the apps and sites impersonating this project since active development stopped in 2020.
The wallet is no longer under active feature development, but it still works, and XRP held in old Toast Wallet accounts is safe and recoverable — this repository exists to keep that path clear and to make sure people can tell the real thing apart from the impersonators that have targeted this project's name since 2020.
| Platform | Requirements | File | Checksum |

⚠️ This GitHub organization is the only official presence for Toast Wallet — there is no official website.toastwallet.appis a known phishing clone impersonating one; see our full scam warning list.
Toast Wallet was built by StarStone Ltd in 2017 and grew to over 100,000 users before active
development stopped in 2020. The XRP Ledger doesn't stop when a wallet's development does — old
wallets are still fully valid and recoverable if you still have your credentials. Since 2020,
however, a fraudulent app called "Toast Plus" and a phishing site called toastwallet.app have
collectively stolen millions of dollars from people searching for this project and assuming they'd
found it. These docs exist to make the real, official path easy to find and the impersonators easy
to avoid.

This is the official Toast Wallet documentation repository, maintained by contributors on behalf
of StarStone Ltd. Active feature development on the wallet stopped in 2020, but these docs are
actively maintained — including tracking new scam variants as they appear, such as the "Toast
Plus" app (subject of a 2021 federal class-action lawsuit against Apple over $5M+ in stolen XRP)
and the toastwallet.app phishing clone. Full sourcing and details are in the individual articles.
