After spending 25 years wrangling mainframes as a system administrator (yes, those ancient beasts), I’ve now retired and taken up the noble hobby of crafting Windows applications. I like to keep my brain buzzing by diving into new challenges and learning fresh skills. Better than telling the kids to get off my lawn, right?

Now, full disclosure: I’m an amateur developer, definitely not one of those fancy professional software engineers. My skills might be a bit on the modest side, but my enthusiasm to learn and get better is through the roof. I’m all ears for constructive feedback and clever suggestions, as long as they’re delivered with kindness and a sprinkle of thoughtfulness. That said, after decades in IT, my patience for users who come with ridiculously trivial complaints is about as thin as a wafer.

Just a heads-up: nothing here is guaranteed to run flawlessly on your setup, consider it more of a “use at your own risk” kind of deal. I’ll do my best to help out when I can, and while I might not always see eye to eye with every idea, I’m open to enhancement requests. I’ll keep this up as long as it stays fun and doesn’t start feeling like a second job.
