Code Review
This pull request updates various dependencies, including go-ethereum and testify, and bumps the Go version to 1.24. The changes seem to be aimed at fixing dependency issues as per the pull request title. The updates are reasonable and follow standard Go module practices, including the addition of a toolchain directive. I have one suggestion regarding a newly introduced transitive dependency, go.yaml.in/yaml.v2, which is a fork of gopkg.in/yaml.v2 that is already in use. Consolidating this to a single implementation would improve maintainability and prevent potential type conflicts.

This pull request introduces go.yaml.in/yaml.v2 as a new transitive dependency, while gopkg.in/yaml.v2 is already in use (line 107). go.yaml.in/yaml.v2 is a fork of gopkg.in/yaml.v2.
Having both can lead to type conflicts and bloat the final binary. It's better to consolidate them. Consider using a replace directive in go.mod to force the use of a single version, for example:
replace go.yaml.in/yaml.v2 => gopkg.in/yaml.v2 v2.4.0This would make your dependency tree cleaner and safer. You would need to run go mod tidy after adding the replace directive.
