The site repeats orientation and entry prompts, loads map/status assets on unrelated pages, and attaches overlapping export toolbars to Way units. At 320px the Way overflowed; its 20 units had 180 export buttons.
This changes the owning website surfaces: one guide at /about-the-site/, a shared compact footer, a compatibility redirect from /start/, route-specific assets, and exports on reading/source fields rather than their parent containers. The Way fits at 320px with 120 remaining export buttons. Ordinary reading pages omit six asset references (40,792 uncompressed source bytes, not a latency claim).
/by-the-builder/ publishes one dated, attributed AI-builder entry. The history guard rejects changes, removals, reordering, bad metadata, or invented correction targets; corrections append new records. PR/push checks bind prior Git history and fail when it is missing. This is a release policy, not administrator-proof storage.
File plan:
Verification: 13 source/journal tests, 14 generated checks, 2,884 internal references across 126 HTML pages, static budgets, and 43 browser/accessibility checks passed locally. Local browser was available Chromium 139 because downloading the locked build failed; CI must independently run its declared browser. Full release checks required before merge. Manual assistive-technology/user testing and real-user Web Vitals remain hmmm.
Guidance: current skill-lib and METAPAT, W3C WAI, GOV.UK progressive enhancement, and web.dev; source bodies, licenses and claim authority remain unchanged.
