A wallpaper-driven setup for Windows 11, using pywal16.
- A wallpaper-driven setup adapts to your wallpaper. This means the colors of your taskbar, apps, tiling manager, and other UI elements change based on the tones in your wallpaper.
- It also supports dynamic wallpapers, so when your wallpaper changes, your setup updates to match it automatically.
- The goal is to keep the overall experience minimal, clean, and cohesive.
- Speed and performance are important, so the setup stays lightweight without sacrificing responsiveness.
- Wallpapers selected to complement the wallpaper-driven setup.
- Scripts and configuration files for customizing supported software to match your wallpaper's colors.
- Setup and customization guides to help you get started and tailor the experience.
- Windows 11 quality-of-life tweaks for a more polished desktop.
- YASB - A highly configurable Windows status bar written in Python.
- Komorebi - A tiling window manager for Windows.
- Nilesoft-Shell - Powerful context menu manager for Windows File Explorer.

I have nothing against the usage of LLMs in the project — in fact, I use them myself. I believe that AI can speed up development in a lot of meaningful ways and be a useful tool for learning new concepts.
However, using AI cannot act as an excuse for failing to understand, review, and test the changes proposed. Furthermore, I expect communication with a real person, not a computer. This includes but is not limited to PR/issue text generation, comments in discussions, etc. A short summary of minor changes can be generated and does not need to be disclosed explicitly, but the reasoning and motivation behind a change must come from the contributor and reflect their own understanding.
Note that PRs that fail to adhere to these requirements may be rejected without further notice.
- MrDLingters - Motivated me to start this project.
- r/unixporn - For the inspiration.
- pywal16 - 16 colors fork of pywal - Generate and change color-schemes on the fly.
