Hi, I'm Thami 👋

Software developer in training, based in South Africa — currently sharpening full-stack skills through the AI Software Engineering programme at Melsoft Academy, and certified in Generative AI for Software Engineers through WeThinkCode_.

I'm building toward strong front-end and back-end fundamentals, with a growing focus on shipping real, usable products rather than tutorials.

🎓 Certifications

  • Software Developer Certificate — FNB App Academy (2025)
  • Generative AI for Software Engineers — WeThinkCode_

🚧 What I'm working on

  • NearbyTool App — a neighbourhood tool-lending marketplace (React + TypeScript), my Melsoft capstone. Full decision log, founder response doc, and deployed build.
  • Toro Coffee Redesign — a React + Tailwind CSS rebuild of torocoffee.co.za, based on a full UX heuristic audit (fixed broken CTAs, added social proof, improved accessibility). Live
  • Kasi Excellence Tutoring — a mobile-first, multi-page HTML/CSS site for a township-based tutoring business, from wireframes to a full custom design system.

📈 Currently

  • Deepening my React/TypeScript patterns on real client-style briefs
  • Applying what I learned in my Generative AI certification to real projects
  • Open to junior/graduate developer opportunities
