Installing the game is as easy as playing it (Very difficult). Let's get started

Windows

As of Omega 1.5.1, Java 8 is no longer provided by the game, you'll need to install it yourself if you haven't already.

  1. Unzip the download. Enter application32 if you have a 32-bit system, or application64 if you have a 64-bit system.
  2. run secretlands.exe.

Saves and screenshots go in the same folder as secretlands.exe.

macOS

As of Omega 1.5.0, Java 8 is no longer provided by the game, you'll need to install it yourself if you haven't already from here. A .url shortcut is also provided in the DMG file.

  1. Open the .DMG file by double clicking.
  2. Drag the .app into the provided Application alias.
  3. Open the application folder.
  4. FIRST TIME ONLY: Right click the .app and click "Open", then click "Open"
  5. Any time after first: double click like normal

Screenshots and saves are saved to the folder found at /Users/[you]/Library/Application Support/TeamCstudios/SecretLands

Linux

  1. Download the provided Linux ZIP
  2. Extract it, there will be 4 folders depending on your OS
  3. chmod the "program" to make it executable
  4. Run it
