Prerequisites

• Node.js (v18 or higher recommended)

Getting Started

1. Install dependencies:

   npm install

2. Set up your API keys and database: Create a .env.local file in the root directory and add your API keys:

   API_KEY=your_gemini_api_key_here
   VITE_SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_project_url
   VITE_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=your_supabase_anon_key
   

   • Get a Gemini API key from Google AI Studio
   • Create a Supabase project at supabase.com
   • Run the SQL schema from supabase-schema.sql in your Supabase SQL Editor
   • Get your Supabase URL and anon key from your project settings

3. Run the development server:

   npm run dev

4. Open your browser: Navigate to the URL shown in the terminal (typically http://localhost:5173)

Build for Production

npm run build

The built files will be in the dist directory.

Item Generation

Database Setup

All generated items are automatically saved to Supabase. To set up the database:

1. Create a new Supabase project at supabase.com
2. Go to the SQL Editor in your Supabase dashboard
3. Copy and run the SQL from supabase-schema.sql
4. Add your Supabase credentials to .env.local as shown above
