Fitmatch

Fitmatch is an application developed with Vite and React that allows you to find gym buddies and post workout activities with your friends in a feed format. The application is divided into a front-end and a back-end, which need to be activated separately.

• Social feed: Stay updated with your friends' activities and motivate them with comments and reactions.

Prerequisites

Make sure to have the following programs installed before starting:

• Node.js
• npm

Installation

1. Clone this repository to your local machine.

git clone https://github.com/TAlgorhythmic/fitmatch-backend.git

2. Navigate to the project directory.

cd fitmatch-backend

3. Install the project dependencies.

npm install

Usage

Start the back-end

To start the back-end, use the following command:

cd back-end
npm start

Start the front-end

To start the front-end, use the following command:

cd front
npm run dev

Once both servers are running, open your browser and go to http://localhost:3001 to use the application.
