Summary
0x40to0x30Why
DualSense Edge requires a different enumerated microphone channel contract, while the companion's browser-based test path did not recognize the Xbox endpoint label. The controller microphone output report also used the enable-flag value as its volume ceiling.
User impact
Microphone capture and testing now work consistently across DS, DSE, DS4, and Xbox personas. DSE gets its required stereo endpoint, the other personas remain mono, and microphone level control stays within the controller's native range.
Validation
npm testnpm run typechecknpm run build:app
