Resource pack Visual Effects+.zip causes strange visual artifacts

Enable mentioned resource pack and observe

Expected behavior
Absence of said particles

Removing resource pack fixed everything

I get a very similar bug on 6.0.0-alpha-f from modrinth. For me, all particles position, rotation, and scale seemed randomized, so I would have massive and tiny artifacts scattered throughout 3d space around me. Disabling the pack fixed the problem.
