Change

Add explicit error checks for unsupported block content. Page-to-block-to-page navigation and initial block context must produce no browser console errors or unhandled exceptions. A packaged-CMS regression publishes a real shared block, checks the controlled 400 for a direct page-URL request, opens the block, and returns to page editing without block URL requests or new server errors/type-mismatch logs. The server guard retains counts only and is disabled in live mode.

Also follow Accessibility → Level A before looking for the image alternative issue in live Prepublish results.

Validation

  • 18 JavaScript and 16 Python unit tests passed locally.
  • All 26 functional browser tests passed across Chromium and Firefox.
  • Full backend, package, two CMS profiles, and upgrade checks run in CI.
  • Live Prepublish validation remains required before release.
