Records the direction decision: Meridian's feature target is parity with KDE's Dolphin, adapted to Windows. Tags/ratings and network protocols (SFTP, FTP/FTPS, WebDAV, SCP, optional cloud providers) are in scope — reversing the earlier local-only / no-tags scope — with local file management never depending on them.

  • Intro reframed local-first, naming the Dolphin target.
  • New 'Dolphin parity program' section: what's already at parity (dual pane, per-pane tabs, breadcrumbs, per-folder view memory, places sidebar, previews, batch rename, content search) and the remaining work in planned order — virtual locations, indexed search, embedded terminal panel, tags/ratings/comments, network protocols — pointing at the existing phase items rather than duplicating them.
