## TL;DR

AppTrail shows what changed in a Windows application folder. Capture a snapshot of a folder, capture it again after an update, and AppTrail compares the two: added, removed and modified files with SHA-256 evidence, before-and-after views of saved source and config text, and a standalone HTML report you can keep or share. It is a portable Windows x64 app - no install, no account, no telemetry - and free under the MIT license. Download the latest release, run AppTrail.exe, and capture your first baseline.
