Goal

Make local and CI verification reproducible and run backlog tasks with explicit safety limits.

Acceptance criteria

  • Ruff rules/version and pre-commit hooks are repository-owned.
  • CI exposes stable lint, task-linkage, and Python-version test checks.
  • Backlog entries use allowlisted argument arrays and persist status.
  • Retries are bounded; the runner never applies generated patches or commits/pushes.

    T-007 tracking: Owner SayandB; M1; roadmap-task/enhancement labels and milestone set. PR #19 provides pinned Ruff/pre-commit, CI gates, and an allowlisted backlog runner with bounded retries. Automation does not apply generated patches or commit/push.
