| Connvo sets up one-on-one video coffee chats between people whose interests, goals and experience fit. With Andrew Wang, I wrote most of its Convex backend. The matching queue scores each pair on shared interests, complementary experience and roles, and embedding similarity, then explains the score. Calls run on Stream video, sign-in on WorkOS, and every meeting has permission checks and an audit log. |

Coffee chat flow is simulated The entry describes scored matching that leads to a hosted coffee chat, but the professional queue shows a hard-coded match after a timer. Accepting it redirects to a page with mock participants and messages without creating a meeting. Readers may expect a real match and call from this flow. Please qualify the copy as a prototype or describe what the current flow does.

Stream is not universal “Calls run on Stream video” makes Stream sound like the provider for every meeting. Meeting creation instead selects WebRTC unless the organizer is on a paid plan and requests a large or recorded meeting. This gives readers an inaccurate picture of the video setup; please describe both providers.

Narrow the universal permission and audit claim.
createMeeting permits unauthenticated creation when an existing organizerId is supplied, without checking ownership. Lifecycle creation and transitions do not write audit records. Stream webhook events do write audit records, and participant or host operations check access, but this does not support “every meeting.”

Clarify that time-zone compatibility is currently a placeholder.
The matching scorer currently sets timezoneCompatibility to 1.0 for every pair. The project description therefore implies behavior that is not implemented. State that time-zone compatibility is planned or currently a placeholder.

Correct the outcome-analysis description.
The optimizer excludes accepted records. It uses only completed and declined records, treats completed as success, and calculates feature correlations before proposing weights. Update the copy to describe those inputs accurately.
Suggested fix
-Accept, decline and completion outcomes feed an analysis that measures how well each feature predicts a successful match and proposes new weights from that.
+Completed and declined outcomes feed the weight optimizer. It treats completed outcomes as success, measures each feature's correlation with that outcome, and proposes normalized weights.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

Adds
.portfolio/project.md, which holds everything kgu.one shows for this project: the one-line description, the summary paragraph and the full write-up on the project page, plus the date, award, stack and links. The file is a byte-for-byte copy of the site's current text, so merging changes nothing on the site. After the merge, this repository becomes the source for that text, and the site copies the file from the default branch once a day.node /tmp/kgu-portfolio/check.mjsvalidated the file against the entry format: required keys, date, line length, a 50 to 80 word summary, a write-up under 1,500 words, https links, and no em dashes or middle dots.gh apiconfirmed the pushed file equals the site's copy.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
