This pull request updates the dashboard and admin pages to ensure that only active applications and nominations are shown to users and administrators. It also improves the clarity and formatting of the UserDashboard component, making the UI more readable and user-friendly. The main changes are grouped below:

Restricting Data to Active Applications and Nominations:

  • The dashboard page now uses getActiveApplicationByNuidWithNominations instead of the previous method, ensuring only current application cycle data is shown. (app/dashboard/page.tsx) [1] [2]
  • The admin nominations page now loads only active nominations by switching to getActiveNominations, so admins see only relevant, current data. (app/admin/nominations/page.tsx)

UI and Code Formatting Improvements in User Dashboard:

  • Refactored the UserDashboard component for better readability: improved code formatting, broke up long lines, and clarified conditional rendering for nomination and application details. (components/UserDashboard.tsx) [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14]
  • Updated error messages to clarify when an application is not found in the current cycle, improving user feedback. (components/UserDashboard.tsx)
  • Enhanced the warning about community constituency nominations to be more readable and informative. (components/UserDashboard.tsx)

Minor UI Tweaks:

  • Adjusted container width classes for consistency across pages. (app/admin/nominations/page.tsx, app/dashboard/page.tsx) [1] [2]

These changes help ensure users and admins interact only with relevant, current data, and improve the clarity and maintainability of the dashboard UI.
