Again request for FST4 and FST4W decoder.

I'm sorry but I'd like to request for FST4 and FST4W decoder again.
Because most of the station on LF and MF band use not wspr but FST4 mode!
I understand it's difficult for CPU load but I you have any plan to try it in future?
If not, I'm afraid to say I will have to consider to let it go to sell.

I have just look on kiwisdr, but I was not able to see that this protocols are supported on kiwisdr (http://kiwisdr.com/public/). On this device, I love the possibility, that I am able to extend functionality myself, just by compiling the code. But for sure, writing some own modules will be hard, since you have to have skill in C and javascript as well.
Probably a lot of code, which is not documented.

But one thing, which I notice, when I try to play with sstv, is that you are able grab sound output from web browser and introduce it as input to QSSTV running on different computer. For sure, it is not same level, as you have multiple channels processed in same time, but imho nice feature. So I can receive the same picture on web-888 and compare it with qsstv in same time slot.

So I guess you would be able to receive fst4 for one channel on different pc, when you have sw for it.

Yes, I do the similar way.
Redirect audio signal from browser into a wsjt-x decoder of FST.
It works well but need another PC. Hi.

What's the common used submode? I plan to look at this in my ft8_lib. Based on my reading on the document, it uses similar encoding like FT8/FT4 except several small differences. but largely the algorithms are used. I can foresee the challenges:

1. There are 11 submodes in total for FST4 and FST4W. It may need to change some UI experience in order to select submodes.
2. No good documentation on several details. The only document is quick start guide which is not enough to write code. May have to read Fortran code to figure out.
3. lack of test data. I only found 3 wav file from wsjt-x repo which I can use for testing. but they don't contains much signals like we have for FT8.

Well, the most popular used "sub mode" is as follows;

FST4W-120 (2 minutes interval)
FST4W-300 (5 minutes interval)
FST4W-900 (15 minutes interval)
FST4W-1800 (30 minutes interval)
, and the above is the same with FST4 mode.

I just check, that the mode is not even available in jtdx.

@ja9mat Hidehiko would you be able to record some wav files from wsjt-x receiver/web-888 on desired frequency/mode ?

(Would it be possible to extend signal wiki. It could be in the future great resource for AI learning, for signal recognition.)

In my area, unfortunately, the 1-3 MHz band is severely interfered with :(

Uploaded .wav files are recorded on 2200m band using WEB-888 with Narrow USB mode redirect its sound output into wsjt-x.

Sorry but no station QRV by FST4 mode. So I can not get its wav file.
But it's enough to decode FST4W mode as above.

I am thinking to add WSJT extension which is based JT9.exe file which can support all protocols wjst-x supports but may not able to support autorun as wsjt-x is pretty heavy in terms of computation. Does this meet the needs?

I think the Sparksdr for Hermes Lite2 also uses jt9.exe and it can decode FST and FST4W mode.
