Adds benchmark timeseries for the 21 NGFS Phase V pathways whose metadata came in with #1000: 7 scenarios (B2C, CP, DT, FW, LD, NDC, NZ2050) for each of GCAM, MESSAGE and REMIND. Each pathway's charts now have data.

What's in it

Model Files Rows per file Regions Years
GCAM 7 16,269 33 (Global + GCAM's own regions) 2020–2100
MESSAGE 7 5,070 13 (Global + MESSAGE's own regions) 2020–2100
REMIND 7 5,577 13 (Global + REMIND's own regions) 2020–2100

Metrics: absolute emissions, capacity, emissions intensity, generation and technology mix. GCAM covers power generation only; MESSAGE and REMIND also cover energy storage.

src/data/index.gen.ts is regenerated by npm run build:timeseries. Its diff only adds the 21 NGFS entries; no existing entries change.

Where the data comes from

Prepared by RMI/tpr_benchmark_data_preparation at 6bcdcb2 (RMI/tpr_benchmark_data_preparation#30), run 20261023_T153158Z, then imported with scripts/import-benchmark-data.ts.

  • Validation: 0 failed checks. The one warning is the "Other" share of the IEA APS Southeast Asia technology mix (about 21–25%). It isn't related to NGFS, and the previous run raised it too.
  • The import also rewrote the other publishers' 22 timeseries files. They came out byte-identical, so they're not in this diff.

Checks

  • npm run schema:check: 129 valid, 0 invalid.
  • npx vitest run: 1348 passing.
  • prettier --check on the new files and the index: clean.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Adds timeseries for the 21 NGFS Phase V pathways: 7 scenarios (B2C,
CP, DT, FW, LD, NDC, NZ2050) for each of GCAM, MESSAGE and REMIND,
each covering Global and the model's own regions, 2020-2100.

Prepared by RMI/tpr_benchmark_data_preparation at 6bcdcb2 (#30), run
20261023_T153158Z: 0 failed checks. Its one warning, the "Other" share
in IEA APS Southeast Asia, predates this run.

The run also rewrote the other publishers' 22 timeseries files; they
came out byte-identical, so only the NGFS files and the index change.

What changed in this PR

Connects the 21 NGFS Phase V pathways introduced in #1000 to benchmark timeseries, enabling their charts to display data.

Changes:

  • Registers seven scenarios for each of GCAM, MESSAGE and REMIND in both index lookups.
  • Adds dataset paths and coverage summaries for 2020–2100.
  • Preserves existing non-NGFS entries.
