thanks for the work! Sorry for neglecting it for so long, but I rebased and tried it now and works well. I just triggered a new nightly deployment so it's possible to use it on nightly already. |

This PR is based on #396 and adds support for the upcoming ldc2 change of allowing
ldc2.confto be a directory.The ldc2 PR can be found at ldc-developers/ldc#4954.
For safety, it would be best to wait for the ldc2 PR to be merged before merging this.
