Designed for simplicity and convenience, it allows you to interact with DeepSeek in a native desktop environment, complete with support for localStorage and cookies.
Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionise how we interact with technology. Inspired by other AI applications, I created DeepSeek Desktop to make this powerful tool more accessible and user-friendly. By offering a dedicated desktop application, I aim to take DeepSeek's capabilities even further, ensuring it reaches as many people as possible.

If you prefer to build the application yourself, follow these steps:

Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/doxdk/deepseek-desktop.git

Navigate to the project directory:
cd deepseek-desktop -
Install dependencies:
npm install

Build the application:
npm run build
The installer will be generated in the
dist/folder. -
Alternatively, run the app in development mode:
npm start
- Windows: Windows 10 or later.
- macOS: Coming soon in version 1.0.1.
- Linux: Coming soon in version 1.0.1.
- Version 1.0.1: Enable macOS and Linux support.
- Add more customisation options for users.
