mysql2 segfaults in createConnection on Linux (3.24.4 / 3.23.2, compiled from source) #11335
Found by tokio lane L3 (#11331) on perrymaster (Linux x64) with a live MySQL 8.0.46. It reproduces on main and on the lane branches alike.
Compiled mysql2 (3.24.4, also 3.23.2) segfaults during createConnection, with both caching_sha2_password and mysql_native_password users. Node runs the same program fine.
mysql2 compiles from source (the native binding was removed in #10680), so this breaks every mysql2 user on Linux. It needs a backtrace (gdb), a reduction, and a fix. Also check macOS.
