##Purpose I've always kept track of my gas mileage by recording what my odometer is at and how many gallons of gas I get when I fill my tank. With this application, I won't have to keep my old notepad around.
Also, Android coding is fun and one can never have enough practice.
##Why don't you use the trip odometer? My 1992 Volvo 240's trip odometer is broken.
