feat: Configurable timeout time #54

Closed

Description

@Cooad

Problem or use case

I'm using a Ollama to host a local decision model. On first request, Ollama loads the model into memory, and because of that it takes the model longer than the 5 second hardcoded timeout to respond.
Canceling the request before the model is loaded in Ollama, cancels the model loading itself. This means the plugin doesn't work, unless I manually load the model in Ollama.

Proposed behavior

The timeout direction should be configurable, with the default value set to current 5 seconds.

Permission contract

It doesn't affect the decisions themselfs

Alternatives considered

The alternative is to load Ollama model manually before starting any work. In AFK work, this defeats the purpose

    This is a great idea, definitely something I didn't consider as I didn't get a chance to experience this scenario much. I'll work on a PR for this!

    Would you be able to test @jevvy/permissions latest version 0.7.0?
    The goal jsonc now support permissions.timeoutMs to override the default 5s/5000ms.

    I'll wait for you to confirm before closing this issue.
