Custom themes made with the ARK-4 script makes the PSP freeze and crash

Some of the premade themes make the PSP crash, same for themes made with the script.

Tested on a PSP 3K

Ran into the same issue on PSP 3k:03g. Previewing or installing pre-installed themes freezes then crashes the system. Seems to happen regardless of the plugins enabled.

Possibly relevant issue:
Without CMYK enabled, the custom launcher also bugged out: all colors replaced with purple/black gradients, and menu screen is doubled taking up top-left and top-right quadrants respectively. I think I might have also replicated the bug with CMYK enabled, but not sure about that one.

Theme Install Workaround:
Overwrite the theme.ark file (in PSP\SAVEDATA\ARK_01234) with your new theme.ark. Make sure CMYK is enabled and it should work. I tested this with the peacewalker theme on PSP 3k:03g.
