(via jazzstack): Fix DPI editor race: picking a preset cancels the pending debounced slider commit - #1214
Fixes a race in the DPI editor. If you dragged the slider and then picked a single-DPI preset before the debounce window closed, the slider's pending commit would still fire afterwards. It applied the stale snapshotRows and overwrote the preset you had just picked.
Changes
New dpi-edit-debounce.ts: the debounce timer used to live inline in the DPI editor. It now sits in a small createDpiEditDebouncer helper that exposes schedule, cancel and pending.
DpiCard.tsx: the single-DPI preset pick now cancels any pending debounced commit before it applies the preset, so an earlier slider edit can't land after it.
New dpi-edit-debounce.test.ts: tests that the debouncer schedules, replaces and cancels commits, plus a slider-then-preset test for this race.
Testing
I haven't run the tests or the build. Please run the test suite and a build before merging, and check by hand: drag the DPI slider, then quickly pick a preset. The preset value should stay.
Fix race in DpiStageEditor where preset selection is overwritten by pending debounced commit
In generic single-DPI mode, a debounced slider or typed edit captured older rows and could run after a preset was selected, overwriting the preset's DPI value. Preset selection now cancels any pending commit before applying the preset
Adds a DpiEditDebouncer abstraction in dpi-edit-debounce.ts. It tracks at most one scheduled callback, replaces older callbacks when a newer one is scheduled, and supports cancel and pending checks
DpiStageEditor in DpiCard.tsx now uses the debouncer for scheduling, flushing, cleanup, and pending-state checks instead of a local timeout reference
Adds tests in dpi-edit-debounce.test.ts with a fake-timers utility, including a regression test that a canceled slider commit cannot overwrite an applied preset
The DPI editor now uses a reusable debouncer for delayed edits. It cancels pending edits during unmount and preset selection, and flushes pending edits on blur or Enter. New tests cover scheduling, replacement, cancellation, and preset selection.
The editor uses the debouncer for pending-state checks and commits. It cancels pending edits on unmount and preset selection, and flushes edits on blur or Enter. A test checks that a canceled slider edit does not overwrite a preset.
OpenMouse-Project/openmouse#1213: Changes the same editor behavior by capturing slider rows for a delayed commit; this PR uses a debouncer and cancels the commit when a preset is selected.
The preset cancellation is implemented, but the new test does not protect that editor interaction. Add integration coverage; the remaining risk is bounded.

The test constructs a separate debouncer and calls edits.cancel() directly. It never exercises DpiCard or its generic setEnabled handler. Removing the handler’s cancellation would therefore leave this test passing. Add a component-level test that performs a slider edit, selects a preset, and advances the debounce.
