Found and fixed — PR #1225.

What was wrong: the firmware card treated the receiver's HID++ 0xF1 readout as a firmware version. That readout is a per-MCU bootloader identifier, not an app version (a full G HUB app flash leaves those bytes identical — first byte is literally the MCU index, which is why the read showed "2.0.9" for an MCU 2). Compared against the receiver's DFU package in the manifest (c547_dfu@4.2.9), 2.0.9 < 4.2.9 looked like an available update even though your receiver was exactly at 4.2.9 — the same version Logitech lists as current for the PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 SE.

What changed: the receiver row no longer produces a version verdict. It now shows the bootloader readout labeled as what it is, with a note that OpenMouse cannot read the receiver's app firmware version over WebHID yet, so no update check runs for the receiver. The update pill, badge, "Later" dismissal and download button are driven by the mouse itself only — your mouse at 32.5.29 already reports up to date.

Once #1225 is deployed the false "update available" disappears for any Logitech mouse paired with a Lightspeed receiver, not just this model. Closing via the PR.
