Picks up mouse-protocol#246 (released in v0.48.0), which the Logitech side-button assignments from #41 need: Host mode bunny hop and the button listener.

  • native-hid/package.json and lockfile pin github:OpenMouse-Project/mouse-protocol#v0.48.0 (326f292), and allowScripts is updated the same way as the v0.42.2 bump.
  • Verified: a clean npm ci --omit=dev builds dist (with the Host-mode code in drivers/logitech/hidpp.js), npm test passes 18/18, cargo test --locked passes, and the native-hid helper tests pass with --ignored.

Not yet tested on a real Logitech mouse.

Note

Bump @openmouse/protocol to v0.48.0 in native-hid

Updates the Git dependency from v0.42.2 to v0.48.0 in package.json and refreshes package-lock.json with the new commit reference.

Macroscope summarized b9f0a9c.

Bridge's side-button assignments (#41) need mouse-protocol#246: a
Logitech mouse in Host mode reports its Back and Forward buttons as
events, and the listener turns those events on and restores the mode.
v0.48.0 is the first release that carries it.

Verified with `npm ci --prefix native-hid --omit=dev`, the native-hid
tests, and Bridge's native-hid helper tests (run with --ignored).

Approvability

Verdict: Approved at b9f0a9c

Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This is a small dependency-maintenance change confined to repository-ignored paths, with no visible source, infrastructure, schema, or sensitive-area modifications in scope. The author is a frequent editor of the affected native-hid metadata.

Notes:

  • Your repo's Minimum Blocking Severity is Off, so correctness findings do not automatically block approval.
  • No code objects were reviewed. Approvability was decided on eligibility alone.
