HDMI sound output not working - Background music only plays with USB Soundblaster Play 3

Just trying out this plugin on a test player. I use HDMI audio output for the production show, and while testing this on another player I have for testing purposes, which is running the latest FPP 9.3 and the latest version of this plugin, I can only get background sound and PSA to play from the sound blaster play 3. I can also launch a sequence with audio and it will play via HDMI at the same time the background music is still playing on the sound blaster. I can get no audio for PSA or background music to play through the onboard headphone jack or HDMI. The player settings are set to output via HDMI.

I also can only hear PSA if the background music is stopped.

Just push a big change to hopefully support HDMI audio out - please upgrade and test it out

Yes, the update enabled HDMI audio out for background music, however PSA's are still being sent through the Sound Blaster go, regardless if background music is playing or not.

just put in a tweak to the PSA system - can you please retest

The psa still plays on the sound blaster during background music playback. It also says it failed to play the psa but it did just on the wrong output. Sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

@kc7sbf just put another fix in for this - in my testing PSA and background music now stay on the HDMI output and don't cross back onto sound blaster

Yes, it works now. Thanks and sorry for bothering you about this issue. I'll try to implement this into my current show, just have to install it onto the production player and switch HDMI sources (I have two players, each of them outputs the audio, one goes to an FM transmitter, and the other goes to outdoor speakers and I like to be able to adjust the volume control on the speakers without affecting the FM broadcast) I can automate the HDMI audio source switch also. Since i'll be installing the plugin on the main player, which normally does the FM audio, i'll switch the output from it during the pre-show to the speakers and switch it back when the main show starts. I've already found a way to automate the PSA using a GPIO trigger from a relay that will be activated when my cameras outside detect a person walking by.
