Reviewed at exact head 55f1711. The two workflow-only substitutions are correctly full-SHA pinned to the upstream v7.0.0 tag (5fda3b95a4ea91299a34e894583c3862153e4b97). All eight reported PR checks, including Actionlint, Fast Checks, Package Build, Dependency Review, and CI Gate, pass. The self-hosted release job already uses checkout v7, so the Node 24 runner baseline introduced by setup-python v7 is not a new release-path requirement. No actionable findings.

Pheidon second-pass confirmation: Athena approved the exact current head; the live required checks are green; the branch is mergeable and current with its base. I found no additional blocker. Branch protection remains authoritative.
