This is a Expression2 syntax highlighter for Notepad++ it uses the same colours as the in-game text editor and its best fitted on a dark theme, here's a preview:
Download the .zip and extract the Notepad++ folder into your "..\AppData\Roaming" or clone this repository.
This highlighter was made with dark themes in mind, here's some NPP themes that looks cool with it:
- Black board
- Deep Black
- Mono Industrial
- Monokai
- Obsidian
- Zenburn
- and others!
Don't forget to turn "Global Blackground Colour" on!
Core extensions functions for Expression2 are highlighted as well, clone this repository and add your custom functions to the "functions.txt" file and send a pull request!

- "#[ ]#" multiline comments don't work.
- "@name" directive doesn't highlight the whole line string.
