Hardware in Loop
Q. Does the Campus Energy Modeling project support hardware in the loop?
A. The Campus Energy Modeling Simulink library is compatible with hardware in loop (HIL) simulation as long as the HIL platform supports Simulink co-simulation on a host computer. This is the case, for example, with the Opal-RT Technologies' HIL platform and the Simulink Real-Time Windows Target. However, every HIL platform is different and there are some caveats. See Hardware in Loop for advice on configuring the library for use with specific HIL platforms, or contact us if yours is not listed.
