Important PDF limitation

This version renders the selected PDF page to a canvas and exports the signed page as a new PDF. It does not preserve the original PDF's editable text/forms/bookmarks or create a multi-page signed PDF.

Libraries

PDF rendering and PDF export use CDN-hosted PDF.js and jsPDF. Therefore GitHub Pages deployment requires an internet connection for those libraries.

Local run

Open index.html with VS Code Live Server.

Production roadmap

For a serious e-signing product, add signer consent, audit logs, timestamps, document hashing, verification and proper multi-page PDF handling.
