Lecture notes for CSCI 201, Discrete Math and Functional Programming for Computer Scientists, as taught by Ezra Morrison at Western Washington University in Winter 2027. The notes adapt Kameron Decker Harris's Fall 2026 lecture notes for the course; each chapter's Source note says what it draws on.

The notes are published as a Quarto website at https://morrison-lab.github.io/mcs/. This repository is public, under the licenses in LICENSE.md: CC BY 4.0 for the notes and MIT for the code. The site links prerequisite definitions in Morrison-Lab/mds.

Built from the Morrison-Lab/qwt template.

Preview the site with quarto preview, which reloads as you edit, and build it with quarto render. The build goes to _site/, which GitHub Actions publishes to GitHub Pages. See CONTRIBUTING.md for how to add a chapter.
