The table data is now in a separate .csv file in the res folder. There is a new readCSV() function in utility.h that will put each value into a string vector.
Added PTABLE prefix to all the ifndef and define preprocessor directives.
VECOTR_STR macro added
Fixed 'strange' output from 2.1.1 (uint8_t is treated as a char so needed to cast most of the uses of it to int)
New Macros!
-
METHOD_ARGScan be used instead ofconst std::vector<std::string> & -
STR_PARAMcan be used instead ofconst std::string &
Fixed crash from 2.1.0. Cleaned up code.
Now uses int8_t and uint8_t to have a lower memory footprint.
Added radius and extended compare to support radius.
Made pTable a shared library. Added electronegativity and a compare command to compare properties.
findElement is now display. It is not case sensitive for the element name but is for the element symbol. It also displays if an Element is an lanthanide or an actinide instead of -1 and -2.
Contains utility functions (created for better code organization).
Inspired by Python method tables. Table methods the user will call from the terminal will now all be void functions with a vector<std::string> args parameter. There will still be other utility methods but this will make it easier to manage all the table methods.
- Added electronegativity property
- Table is now a static class
- Call Table::init() before using a Table method and call Table::close() before your program ends
-
printElement()now takes anElement*argument instead of avector<std::string> - New
getElement()function - New help command (it is called
helpHelp()because commands other than 'help' and 'exit' will have a help argument to display help) - 'addElement()' utility method and 'addElements()' utility method
- Matching methods for 'methods' just like elements
