Hi @gluneau ! Thanks for offering to build it yourself.
To be upfront: our codebase isn't open for external contributions just yet. We're still preparing it for open-sourcing and setting up contribution guidelines.
If you're up for it, could you share a bit about your environment: which distro(s) you run, and what you'd most want Linux support to cover? That'll feed straight into how we scope the work.
I'm on Ubuntu 24.04, I've made updates to projects with electron and tauri so the apps work on Mac, Windows and Linux.
I'd be glad to help.
@gluneau Got it! We are committed to supporting Linux, with Ubuntu as our first priority, and to open sourcing the project as soon as we can.
We are currently undergoing a major internal refactor to improve the usability and performance of MiniMax Code. After this work is completed, the architecture will be more stable and the project will gradually move toward a ready-to-open-source state.
We hope you understand that we hold ourselves to a high standard when it comes to open source. Our commitment to open source remains one of our long-term goals.
