• read-only: true action input for consume-only jobs: skips the post-build-hook and the final drain and starts serve --read-only, since workflow permissions cannot scope the cache token (#146, closes #137).
• Evicted cache entries no longer cause failed substitutions. GitHub can evict a pack while the manifest survives. The substituter now negative-caches packs that turn out to be gone and 404s their narinfos, and with a GITHUB_TOKEN (actions: read, passed by the action by default) the daemon lists pack-* entries once at startup to detect evictions before Nix asks (#134).
• hestia prefetch handles closures that are not self-contained: references missing from Hestia are realised through the configured Nix substituters before the cached part is imported (#136, @​cons-tan-tan).
• filter-drv-closures: derivation closures stay self-contained by default, but matrix jobs may apply the upstream-cache filter to them when quota matters (#132, #136, @​cons-tan-tan).
• Docs recommend actions: read in the workflow examples.
