Phase 4 of the design: a drilling suggestion under the proposed layers for any picked spot.

What it shows

Two halves, always together, so the suggestion can be weighed against what was really done:

What was done nearby (the 5 nearest sites within 3 km; borewells at one site count once)

• how deep they were drilled (lowest to highest, and the middle),
• where their pumps hang (the same), leaving out what was not recorded,
• each borewell with its distance,
• their slotted pipe, drawn beside the proposed column at the same height above sea level (thin blue lines).

What the records suggest

• the expected water level,
• slotted pipe in each water-bearing stretch the model shows (likely or rough) that is at least 10 ft thick below the water level, drawn as a dashed blue line,
• how deep to drill: the bottom of the lowest such stretch, never deeper than the deepest borewell nearby.

With no recent water level within 1 km, or no water-bearing stretch to suggest, it says so and shows only what was done nearby. With nobody nearby, there is no suggestion. The panel says the driller decides.

The rule for how deep to drill is my assumption, still to be confirmed by DWO. The screen says so.

Checks

• 116 TypeScript tests, including 15 new ones for the suggestion (sites counted once, pipe moved by height on sloping ground, old records in metres, stretches cut at the water level and judged only below it, the depth capped by the deepest borewell nearby).
• The real-app test now expects the suggestion and "How deep to drill"; made-up borewells have slotted pipe and pumps.
• Seen in the real app on made-up borewells.
