When a user tries to scan an invoice to pay on slow internet it can appear like the qr code isn't being scanned because the scanner currently stays open while making the initial network requests.
I like that the scanner stays open because it gives us an opportunity to toast any errors, but there should at least be some loading state or indication that the qr code was successfully scanned now the user just has wait.
